As in all good spiritual stories (The Bible, Wizard of Oz, Star Wars...) the characters lead us through their unusual and sometime difficult spiritual journey. We find that their story is our story as well. This curriculum uses some of the events in Harry's life to come to a greater understanding of our own spiritual gifts and powers.

When he is ten years old he discovers he is a wizard and that he possesses amazing skills and is filled with magic. His story is a wonderful spiritual journey that we can all identify with. As we follow his adventures we discover that the stories reflect our own spiritual journey and point us to a higher use of our own powers. The curriculum uses a variety of stories from the first four Harry Potter DVDs and is designed to assist the students in taping into the “magic” that exists within them.
Basic Unity Principles for Children (Children 3 to 10 years)

This is a 5 month rotation model curriculum that uses four different creation stations to explore each principle in depth. Rather than being set up as a standard classroom experience where the teacher facilitates all aspects of the lesson, it offers the teachers a change of pace by inviting each one to select a creation station that appeals to them. They then remain in that creation station for four weeks as the different age groups rotate through. The creation stations are: The Magic of Theater; Movement & Games; Creative Arts Studio; and Fun with Food & Science. (It can be easily adapted for standard classroom use or for a multi-aged classroom set up.)
